Wildfire near NCAR southwest of Boulder
Boulder, Colorado. — About 1,200 Colorado residents have been ordered to evacuate due to a rapidly spreading wildfire near the site of the devastating 2021 fire, Boulder police said Saturday.

Police said on Twitter that protected wilderness lands are burning near the Table Mesa neighborhood and the National Center for Atmospheric Research. The authorities shoot him NCAR.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife said El Dorado Canyon State Park is now closed, and rangers are working to get visitors out of the park.

Eldorado Canyon State Park is closed and authorities have ordered people hiking or climbing in the area to evacuate.
University of Colorado Boulder police are evacuating the southern campus and police are blocking westbound traffic on roads near the fire.
Boulder Police said the fire started around 3 p.m. and an emergency operations center was activated.
Emergency alerts were sent to cell phones within a radius of 1/4 mile (0.4 km) from the research center.
