San Francisco building partially collapses in fire
Prescott, Arizona – Some Yavapai County communities were ordered to evacuate Monday afternoon, and several other residents were warned to prepare to leave due to the rapidly increasing wildfires.
Crooks Fire destroyed at least 500 acres of land and was 0% contained as of 6 p.m., according to the Forest Service.
The fire broke out about 10 miles south of Prescott and two miles north of Palace Station in Prescott National Forest.
Forest officials said the fire was burning through the trees, Ponderosa pines and mixed pines.
Officials said resources including fire crews, engines and aircraft are at the site and orders have been issued to fight the fire. Smoke may be visible from multiple locations including Chino Valley, Mayer, and Prescott Valley.
The following communities are subject to a “GO” order, which means people must evacuate immediately.

The following roads are closed due to the fire:
Goodwin Road – Crown Prince Road to Senator Highway
Walker Road is blocked in Senator Highway
Wolf Creek Lower Trail blocked off Senator Express
Big Bug Mesa is banned on Goodwin Road
