Two pilots killed as Soviet-era fighter jet crashes in India
ELMO, Montana — Wildfire burning in western Montana, spread to 2,000 acres on Friday night, forcing evacuations and road closures.
A report from the Montana Department of Transportation said there was no use in the area and that Interstate 28 between Hot Springs and Elmo was closed.
NBC Montana reported that the fire was burning in the grass but was moving quickly toward the woods.
She added that air carriers and helicopters were shooting down.
