AIANAE – Suspects are being chased after a shooting in Waianae Tuesday morning that left one person dead and three others injured.
Honolulu Department of Emergency Management Services spokeswoman Shane Enright said the three injured were taken to hospital after the Waiʻanae shooting.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Yoro said in a statement that the Honolulu Police Department is “actively investigating the Waichani shooting with several victims.”
“Please avoid the area. The investigation is underway.”
Police said the shooting took place in Building 86-900 of Pokaikuahiwi Place, a residential neighborhood.
According to Emergency Medical Services, a man in his 30s has been declared dead.
Two others – a 47-year-old man and a 53-year-old man – were taken to hospital in serious condition. A 49-year-old man was in stable condition.
EMS said the patients had multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics treated them for injuries, mostly to the upper body.
A manhunt for suspects is underway.
