US Ski & Snowboard has opened an investigation into the US snowboarding team after a former Olympian accused two members of sexual harassment and racism, USA Today reported.

Callan Chythlook-Sifsof, who participated in the 2010 Olympics, posted the allegations on her Instagram account, saying coach Peter Foley had taken “nude photos of female athletes for more than a decade”.

She also alleged that Foley made a sexual comment to her and another teammate about another woman in 2014.

Chythlook-Sifsof, 32, shared a series of Instagram posts on Friday that allegedly made a sexual comment about herself and another female athlete when she was 17.

Olympic figure skater Hagen Kearney has also been accused of using the n-word against her in order to “deliberately get under my skin”.

She recounted an incident that allegedly occurred during the 2014 Olympic qualifiers in Canada. Per Chythlook-Sifsof, the two were riding a truck back to the hotel when Kearney allegedly said, “Kanye West gives black people a bad name.”
After I asked him to stop and get out of the truck, Kearney allegedly screamed repeatedly about 20 times as they walked.

USA Today reports that a spokesperson for the US snowboarding and snowboarding company, Tom Horrocks, has commented on both allegations, saying the foundation is “aware of recent allegations” against Foley.

Kearney competed at the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, finishing 17th in the men’s figure skating event.

Chythlook-Sifsof stated that she had to post these allegations there.

“Concerns about Hagen were addressed at the time and appropriate measures were taken,” Horrocks told the newspaper.

ESPN reported that Chythlook-Sifsof’s posts were twice removed by Instagram for “violating our guidelines on nudity and sexual behavior” and “bullying and harassment”.
