James River in Richmond, People confirmed missing after group goes over Bosher’s Dam
Thompson, Connecticut – Four people were killed and one seriously injured after a crash in Thompson, Connecticut on Monday, police said.
Connecticut State Police responded to the incident just after 5 p.m. in the Quaddick Town Farm Road area.
State police said 18-year-old Yohan Santana, of Rhode Island, was heading south on Quadick Town Farm Road around 5 p.m. when he tried to overtake a vehicle that was heading south.
Authorities added that Santana lost control of his car, veered off the right side of the road and then crashed into a tree.
The driver, identified as Johan Santana, 18, of Providence, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three passengers in the car also died, 21-year-old Jacelyn Perez
And Erica Perez, 21 years old
And Alexandra Terrier, 21-year-old Almonte
succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.
All three were from Rhode Island
A 21-year-old man has also been taken to a Rhode Island hospital, where he is in critical condition.
Investigators said that none of the people inside the car were wearing seat belts.
