Testing a typical engine in Gstaad, Switzerland, running on plastic waste



The CEO of the engine manufacturer, Richard Dinan, stated that this engine was “one of the cleanest designs” in terms of engines for missiles.

However, Pulsar Fusion (British) had previously installed its new hybrid rocket engine, which was equipped with nitrogen dioxide in addition to high-density polyethylene (PAD) extracted from plastic waste, at a Swiss site.

On November 25, 2021, in the Swiss town of Gstaad, a prototype engine was ignited.
