FORT WORTH, Texas – Firefighting teams have put out a massive fire on an oil tanker in Euless.
The fire started around 10:30 a.m. on the 12,000 block of Trinity Boulevard in Flint Hills Resources, where drivers are filling their trucks.
A tanker truck containing jet fuel caught fire Wednesday morning east of Fort Worth near Euless.
The accident occurred at Flint Hills Resources, a fuel supplier at 12550 Trinity Boulevard. The Fort Worth Fire Department responded to the scene around 11 a.m. and the fire department said that by 11:30 a.m., the fire was under control.
Officials said the tanker was loading or unloading fuel when the explosion occurred.
Two people in the truck escaped safely.
The fire department added that no one was injured and there were no evacuations.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
