A bomb threat forces Doug Imhoff to leave Dunbar High School in Washington, DC

Gentleman II Doug Imhoff was taken away by Secret Service agents Tuesday after a bomb threat was called to Dunbar High School in Washington, D.C., where Vice President Kamala Harris’s husband was showing up.

His crew notified the pool of a security threat the school reported to the Secret Service.

The school’s announcement came via intercom at 2:34 p.m. calling on teachers to vacate the school and reporters also left the building.

“This afternoon during an event attended by a Secret Service protector, the Secret Service learned of a threat to the place and immediately evacuated the protector.

At this time there is no information indicating that the threat was directed at the person protecting us,” a Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement.

“Our protocol is to clean up the building and move the kids away.
DCPS gave us directions to make sure, to go ahead and send the kids home.
“We probably won’t be able to evacuate the building for an hour or two,” Dunbar manager Nadine Smith said.

During a news conference later Tuesday, the Metropolitan Police said the bomb threat at Dunbar High School during Imhoff’s visit appeared to be unrelated to previous bomb threats recently against historic black colleges and universities.
and that Imhof was not a target, based on a preliminary investigation.
