About QVC Fire:

The Rocky Mountain Fire Department said they received reports of this horrific fire at approximately 2:06 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
and there were approximately 300 employees working in the building at the same time.

Sadly, Evans said in the reports on the QVC fire that “a major section” of the 1.2 million square foot (365,000 square meter) facility has been destroyed.
Still, private fire crews, which consist of about 45 firefighting departments, are still trying to put out the fire after 12 hours or more.

The QVC fire destroyed approximately 75% of the facility’s formation at Rocky Mount.
“He’s heard from a family in the county that a family member who was working last night has been missing.
and they haven’t heard from him since, of course, that’s concerning,” said Eric Evans, an Edgecombe County Superintendent.

Evans also said that the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
