Twelve people arrested at two Boston-area beaches
Lexington, Kentucky – Police are investigating a fatal overnight shooting in Lexington.
Officers responded to a call about a 34-year-old man who was shot on Florence Street at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police say this is an ongoing death investigation. Families and friends of the victim gathered outside the home on Florence Street last night in an attempt to overcome the grief.
It was a very crowded scene, with a large police presence.
The victim’s friends and family told us they were outraged that shootings like the one that occurred overnight in Lexington continued to occur.
An investigation is underway and the police are still actively working at the scene.
Lexington Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.

This is the 17th murder that occurred in Lexington in 2022, and the fifth gun-related murder in May.
