A woman was killed and two people were injured in a farm platform crash in Byfield
NEWBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA – Police responded to an incident at a Walmart Super Center in Newbury Township, York Co. Walmart on Sunday, May 22.
According to York Co. Walmart Acting Director of Communications Ted Cheek, at approximately 4:41 p.m., a 911 call was made for a man with a gun, and the shooting took place.
At least one person was injured and their condition is currently unknown.
Newbury Police Chief Stephen Lutz confirmed that two Hispanic men were involved in the incident. The victim is 30 years old and the suspect is 33 years old.
Both men know each other and are from York, but not from Newbury Township.
Police at this time believe this incident was local in nature.
The public is not in danger and this was considered an isolated incident.
Alleged shooter is in custody
. Several police agencies helped clear the store, and everyone was confined.
No one was injured in this accident.
Newbury Township Police are investigating. All other businesses around Walmart are open.
