Olympia Fields, Illinois – A victim was shot and killed inside a Walmart Super Center in Olympia Fields on Saturday morning.
Around 9:42 a.m., the police responded to the call to shoot.
Once at the scene, they identified the victim who was conscious and alert.
She was taken to a local hospital in good condition.
The police believe this is an isolated incident, and do not believe there is a threat to the community.
No suspect is currently in custody.

An investigation is underway, and the police will have a more detailed statement at 1:30 p.m.
We reached out to Walmart for a statement, and the company said it is “currently working with law enforcement” on the matter.
