Officers were called to the shop’s parking lot at the 1100 block on Putrenko Road after 3pm to report a shooting incident.
When the police arrived, they found a 40-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, and a 39-year-old passenger with gunshot wounds.
A SAPD spokesperson said there was an altercation between the shooter, who was in a sedan, and the man in a truck while they were in the parking lot.
As they were leaving, a witness told police she saw the shooter hold the two people at gunpoint while he was in his car with a 24-year-old woman and a 4-year-old child, according to San Antonio police.
The shooter called 911 and remained at the scene.
The police detained him for questioning. The altercation that led to the shooting is believed to be related to road rage, but officers were only able to confirm this after further investigation.
The 40-year-old man and the 39-year-old woman were both taken to hospital. The officers present at the scene could not confirm their condition.
