North Carolina Waterfall Accident, Three-Year-Old Girl Is Killed
NEW YORK – Five people were shot dead Tuesday morning in a subway station in Brooklyn, New York, law enforcement sources said.
A New York City Fire Department spokesman said, firefighters who responded to reports of smoke at the 36th Street station in the Sunset Park neighborhood found multiple people with gunshot wounds and unexploded devices.
According to a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation, preliminary information indicates that the suspect was wearing construction clothing.
A photo from the scene showed people taking care of bloodied passengers lying on the floor of the station.
More details were not immediately available. New York City police said they were responding to reports of people being injured by either gunshots or an explosion.
Trains serving that station are delayed during the morning rush hour.
