Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney of The Black Keys are calling on her to quit smoking after three years of marriage.

The news follows a since-deleted tweet in which the “Everywhere” singer accused the drummer of cheating on her, although Carney has neither confirmed nor publicly denied the statement. Billboard has reached out to musicians’ representatives for comment.

Michelle Branch and drummer Patrick Carney separate from the Black Keys after three years of marriage.

“To say I’m totally devastated doesn’t come close to describing how I feel about myself and my family. The whole rug has been pulled out from under me and now I have to think about how to move forward,” Branch, 39, told People. “With such young children, I ask for privacy and kindness.”

On Wednesday evening, Branch tweeted and deleted a message accusing Carney of cheating on her while she was home with their six-month-old.

The musicians tied the knot at the Marini Opera House in New Orleans in April 2019 in front of friends and family including Owen’s 17-year-old daughter Isabel from her first marriage and their son Reese James, now 4.

“Welcome to the world, sweet girl Willie,” she captioned the photo of their new baby as she arrived. “Willie Jacket Carney was born on 2/2/22. She was named after Patrick’s grandmother Willie Madge and she has my mother’s maiden name/middle name. We are very in love.”

The Black Keys are currently on tour to support their eleventh studio album, Dropout Boogie, which was released just months earlier in May, while Branch prepares to release their fourth studio album, The Trouble With Fever, on September 16.
