Parkland school shooter, Jury selection starts today for panel that’ll help decide

ATLANTA – Atlanta police are searching for a gunman in a deadly downtown shooting that investigators believe was a targeted act of violence.

The victim was discovered at approximately 2:45 a.m. by officers who responded to the report of the shooting at the Dagny Midtown building on Juniper Street.

Investigators at the scene told Channel 2 that they believed the shooting was targeted.

In response to the scene, officers found one victim shot dead on the sidewalk outside the Dagny Midtown high-rise apartment complex.

Investigators have blocked off a portion of Juniper Street between 7th and 8th Streets as they continue to search for clues.

Officials have not released any information about the victim or any potential suspects.
They are currently looking for surveillance footage that can help them find a picture of the gunman.
