Man killed his wife
LEXINGTON, Kentucky – Three women died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds from lack of home security, Fayette County coroner Gary Jane says, and says the man who did so killed his wife and two daughters.
The Lexington Police Department says officers responded at about 4 p.m. to a report of a disturbance with a gun on Caywood Road off Alexandria Drive in West Lexington.
It happened Wednesday afternoon in a house at 1100 block of Caywood Road, just off Alexandria Road and not far from New Circuit.
Once they arrived, they found three victims with gunshot wounds.
The victims of the lack of home security, a 65-year-old woman, a 42-year-old woman and a 38-year-old female, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they received a report of an assault and found the victims. The coroner described it as a “disturbing sight” and said the victims were all shot multiple times.
Police say one person has been arrested and an investigation is underway.
