Shooting in Randolph
Randolph police responded to a parking area near the Mojitos Country Club, Man Killed, Another Critically Injured Shooting in Randolph, 8 p.m. Monday.
Randolph Police responded to a parking lot near Mojitos Country Club for a report of the shooting around 8 p.m. Monday and found two seriously injured victims.
Michael Morrissey, the Norfolk County District Attorney, said in a statement that the two victims were taken to a Boston hospital, where one man succumbed to his injuries, while the other was being treated for life-threatening injuries late Monday night.
Officials have not released the names of the victims at this point.
No suspects or possible arrests were reported, but the police and defense department said there was no known ongoing threat to the community at this time.
The vicinity of 44 Mazzeo Drive was closed to traffic after the shooting, and police warned residents that there would be a large police presence while the investigation continued.

Massachusetts State Police assisted Randolph Police at the scene, as well as personnel from Braintree, Milton, Stoughton, Holbrook, Weymouth and Avon.
The public prosecutor said state and local police investigators conducted interviews Monday night with witnesses who were in the area at the time of the shooting.
Located right off the highway, across from Showcase Cinemas in Randolph, Mojitos Country Club features multiple guest spaces, including an outdoor pool.
