Chaplin, Connecticut – State Police are currently investigating a person of interest in the Chaplin murder.

Police responded to the scene at 214 Miller Road. Around 6:12 a.m. on Sunday. Police said a man was found dead. At this time, the police have not released the name of the victim.

At about 6:12 a.m. Sunday, soldiers responded to reports of an attack with life-threatening injuries at 214 Miller Road in Chaplin and found a man dead, according to the Connecticut D.

Investigators have identified a person of interest in the murder and are seeking public assistance in identifying this individual, who they believe is driving a light blue Ford F-350 with red stripe on the tailgate and a Minnesota YBN8321 license plate.

Police urged the public not to approach the person or vehicle.
