Dear Kramer Middle School community,
With the heaviest of hearts I am writing to you this afternoon.
I am very sorry to announce that Assistant Principal Moises Plascencia committed suicide earlier this morning on campus.
The accident took place in a private area for employees, colleagues and students did not attend, and no one witnessed the accident.
The Placentia Police Department (PPD) responded quickly to our request for support.
Words will never be able to express our true sadness over this loss.
While we may never understand or understand why this happens, please know how much Mr. Placencia cares about your students, their education, and all of Kramer Prep.
As we begin to process this unimaginable grief, we are suspending normal school operations for the remainder of the day.
School will resume tomorrow with our usual schedule.
Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) team of highly qualified mental health professionals will be on campus to serve and support students, staff, and families.
Anyone affected by this incident is encouraged to come to the multi-purpose room for mental health support at any time throughout the remainder of the week.
We thank you for your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we continue to overcome this terrible tragedy on our campus.
We also thank Placentia PD and other community partners for their support.
