North Carolina coast, 8 missing in small plane crash
KATE, Texas – A Kent County high school student was stabbed during an early morning altercation Monday, Kent County Public Schools said.
Four people were wounded, two others were wounded, and one of the wounded was arrested.
The stabbing occurred on Monday afternoon on 1800th Street of Cattland Road. Authorities said this looked like a school brawl, but it was unclear what school the students were from.
Officials believe one of the stabbing victims is 18 years old.
Authorities said the suspect was taken into custody and taken to a local hospital by ambulance, with a dislocated shoulder and non-life-threatening injuries.

Another victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to District 5 authorities, the battle began at Paetow High School and ended in the park.
Authorities said the students quarreled over girls. According to investigators, they also took bats into the park and damaged cars.
Harris County Precinct 5 is leading the investigation and is assisted by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The Katy Independent School District released the following statement:
Katy ISD Police and local law enforcement are actively investigating an altercation that occurred in a Harris County park after school dismissal today.
At this time, several students are believed to have been involved in the melee.
The campus and county administration is working closely with law enforcement authorities to complete a comprehensive investigation.
Anyone found to have participated in the incident will be disciplined in accordance with the student’s Code of Conduct and Discipline Management Plan, as well as subject to any potential criminal consequences.
Out of great caution, an additional Katy Police ISD will also be assigned to patrol the area until the investigation is completed.
