Evacuations ordered as Tunnel Fire

Wildfire burning near Prescott grows to 500 acres
FLAGSTAFF – Multiple areas northeast of Flagstaff are undergoing evacuation Tuesday as a fast-moving tunnel fire broke out in the area, fueled by high winds.
All areas east and west of Interstate 89 and north of Campbell Street are under evacuation, as is Moon Crater.
The Antelope Hills area east of Interstate 89 should be ready for a possible evacuation.
Northbound US 89 closes at mile 425. Southbound closes at mark 435. Forest Road 544 is closed as well.
There was news on Sunday afternoon, but winds set the fires.
Here is a look at the areas of people who have been asked to leave:
*Moon Crater
*North Campbell areas east and west of Interstate 89
*East and West sides of Interstate 89, from Campbell to Sunset Crater
* Timber area
*All areas north of Lenox Road and south of Forest Service 545, including Wupatki Trails
The tunnel fire burned an estimated 2,000 acres southeast of San Francisco Peaks and is rapidly spreading in a northeast direction fueled by high winds.
With medium to high-range finds occurring in timber and turf, according to a US Forest Service press release.
An estimated 400 personnel are working to contain the fire.

The fire was reported on Sunday afternoon and the cause remained under investigation on Tuesday.
