Second-alarm fire burns UPS warehouse, big rig trailers in Lancaster
Delray Beach Fire Rescue responded to Highland Beach on Sunday afternoon after a boy said he was bitten by a shark.
Delray Beach Fire Rescue said in a tweet that the boy “saw a small shark arrow darting towards him in the shallows.”
and “bite his right foot near his big toe before swimming away.”
Officials said doctors were able to bandage the boy’s foot and send him to a local hospital for treatment.
In a follow-up tweet, officials said the type of shark said to have bitten the boy was unknown, but the boy described it as being four feet long.
Highland Beach is located about three hours southeast of Orlando, near Boca Raton.
