Groves Police, Four-Year-Old Graves Boy Abducted, in Grave Danger
HENRY COUNTY, Va. – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly domestic dispute.
Investigators say the 911 emergency center in Martinsville-Henry County received a call Saturday at 9:30 p.m. from a man saying his girlfriend had shot him. He also said he shot his girlfriend.
Representatives responded to the scene in an apartment on Meadow Green Drive in Bassett and found the caller, Tyson Hurston, 32, with life-threatening gunshot wounds to the neck and torso. He was taken to Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
They also found victim Tambria Taylor, 32, dead inside the apartment. She was hit by several bullets.
An initial investigation shows that the couple got into an argument and that both Hairston and Taylor were armed with pistols. They started shooting and hitting each other several times.
This incident is still under investigation.
