Heather MacDonald broke her skull on stage
Stand-up comedian Heather MacDonald shared a video of the moment she collapsed mid-set and fractured her skull.
Earlier this week, MacDonald upset her fans during a show at the Forum Hotel in Tempe, Arizona after falling to the ground while on stage.
The 51-year-old comedian, who rose to fame with an appearance on the E! s Chelsea Recently, she was performing at The Tempe Improv on Saturday night when she collapsed on stage after making a second joke.
She was taken to the hospital by her sister and it was discovered that she had fractured her skull.
The reason for her collapse remains unclear, though her publicist told Phoenix NBC that it might be “due to dehydration.”
MacDonald, a comedian, commented on the wild video, “I fainted on stage and broke my skull in front of a show that ran out at @tempeimprov. What do you think about the reason for that? #karma #jesus #comedy #joyscoop #standup #covid.”
“You can see my eyes, it fell on my eyes,” she continued, showing off her bruises. I can’t believe this happened. I am so appalled that they had to tell everyone to leave and then cancel the second show.”
She concluded by promising, “Tembe, I’ll be back. I’ve never fainted in my life.”
