Field fire burning in Saratoga Springs

Motorcyclist airlifted after Lake George crash
Saratoga Springs, Utah – A fire broke out near a park in Saratoga Springs on Sunday afternoon.
“There is a plant fire south of the Pony Express near Saratoga Road,” said a Facebook post released at 5:12 p.m. from Saratoga Springs Fire and Rescue.
“We are asking residents to avoid the area at this time.”
Witnesses said the fire started in Patriot Park and spread north.
A spokesperson for the Saratoga Springs Police Department said the space was about five acres and there were no structures under threat.
The Unified Fire Service and possibly other fire agencies are working to contain the fire.
