A media critic devoted to invoking right-wing misinformation through his writing for Media Matters for America, Salon, Daily Kos, and most recently as founder of Press Run.
Aside from his career as a reporter and commentator, Eric has also been an author.
“I am deeply saddened by his family and friends and will miss his critical work,” Hillary Clinton wrote on Twitter.
A statement from NJ Transit reported Tuesday that a train on the Montclair Boonton Line struck and killed an adult man on a bicycle Monday evening “before” Watchung Avenue station between its 8:59 departure from Hoboken and its scheduled arrival in Hackettstown at 11:07 p.m.
Former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton tweeted:
“I am heartbroken for his family and friends and will miss his critical work to counter disinformation and media bias. What a loss.”
