Cary apartment complex fire

Cary, NC – A fire broke out on the third floor of an apartment complex near South Hills Mall and Crossroads in Cary, leaving “several” people trapped, according to Cary Township officials.
The fire started around me just before 3 p.m. Monday at 106 Harlon Drive in Cary.
Aerial photographs showed the roof had been burnt, blackened and completely burnt out.
Most of the roof seemed to be gone.

Officials said the fire has been brought under control, but no word has been received about the cause of the fire.
When asked if people were rescued, officials said the fire department was in the middle of searching the apartment.
Officials have not confirmed whether or not everyone has been rescued.
