Odessa police responded to a bomb threat on a company at E. University on the other side of the UTPB.

At this time there is no information about the business being threatened.

As of 1:40 p.m., an OPD spokesperson said the IED unit had removed the bomb threat and had found nothing.

NewsWest 9 reached out to UTPB, which said the STEM campus has been suspended as a precaution.

An academy spokesperson said the school will remain suspended until 2:15 p.m. Parents of students should heed messages about class.
