Multiple Officers Shot in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania

OCCIola County, Florida – A man riding a bicycle was injured and killed late Thursday night in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Soldiers said the accident occurred at 11:20 p.m. when the man was crossing the Orange Blossom Trail in Mary Louise Lane as two cars were heading south in the middle lane of the Orange Blossom Trail.

Orlando police say firefighters were at the site of a crash on the eastern lanes of Andes Avenue when another vehicle collided with two responding firefighting vehicles.

The driver of that car died at the scene of the accident.

None of the firefighters was injured.

According to the crash report, the 47-year-old from Brooksville was cycling through the southern trails when the vehicle veered farthest onto the Orange Blossom Trail to avoid him.

Individuals said the second car – which was driven by a 17-year-old Kissimmee boy who was unharmed in the accident – hit the man, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

All lanes reopened around 8am

FHP is still investigating the fatal incident.
