bakersfield, california – A rollover accident on Highway 5 in Gorman closed all southbound lanes.
The accident occurred at about 9:18 a.m. on Gorman School Road as the vehicle landed on Gorman Road south, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A major injury crash was announced.
Officials had previously closed all traffic lanes, going north and south, so the helicopter could land and take off from the crash site.
The northbound lanes have since reopened.
It is unclear when the southbound lanes will reopen.
