ASU Football player arrested
Scottsdale, Arizona – An Arizona State University soccer player has been charged with driving under the influence after reportedly hitting and killing a pedestrian with his car, according to Scottsdale police.
The collision occurred after a woman attempted to cross Camelback Road near Minnezona Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7.
Nora Brother, 23, of New Jersey, died of her injuries. “She was here to visit and stay near the area where the crash occurred,” said Scottsdale Police spokesman Aaron Boleyn.
Suspect Stanley Lambert of Tempe. He marks a defensive end on the Arizona State University soccer team.
“He was investigated at the scene and arrested on charges related to alcohol influence.
It was reserved for a single count each of DUI-Poor to Low and DUI-BAC of 0.08% or more.”
Lambert was imprisoned and released.
“An investigation is underway and lab results for the blood alcohol level are pending,” Bolin said.
It is possible that additional charges will be brought.”
