CHICAGO –Amber Alert 3-year-old Kyaira Montgomery found safe, An Amber Alert has been canceled, after a girl who was abducted in west suburban Maywood was found safe.
Illinois State Police said Kyaira Montgomery was kidnapped shortly before 10 a.m. while visiting DCFS at 1700 block of South 1st Avenue.
Police said the woman accused of kidnapping her was the subject of a protection order.
At about 2:30 p.m., Illinois State Police said Kyaira was found safely.
No other details were immediately available and it was not immediately clear whether the woman accused of kidnapping her was being held.
