1 dead in double-shooting

Cincinnati – One person died and another was hospitalized after a shooting in the CUF neighborhood Wednesday night, Cincinnati police said.
District 5 officers responded to the report of the shooting shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday on the 2500 block of Halstead Street, less than a mile from the University of Cincinnati.
Police said one person died while another was taken to hospital after being shot in the leg.
It happened just before 6 p.m. at the corner of Halstead and Elisa Streets in the CUF neighborhood.
“It all happened inside the residence at that address,” said Lt. Col. Timothy Lanter CPD at the scene.
